- Brown-green with spots
Looks like: Haddock has a black lateral line and a dark thumbprint behind the gill; pollock has no barbel.
OK to keep
- Newfoundland recreational groundfish: fixed open dates and a daily limit; no licence needed but the log is
- Maritimes: check the groundfish page
